I picked this jacket up as we were going to be snowmobiling in warmer temps and I needed a lighter weight jacket. The mornings started at -15C/5F and warmed up to -3C/26F. A light wool undershirt and a vest was more than enough as a base layer. Most of the time I was fine with just my undershirt. I much prefer this jacket to my heavy weight Ice Pro jacket as it is lighter, less bulky and moves better due to the soft shell. I'm going to try to pick up a second jacket when they go on sale...

Bought this for my son to go snowmobiling in Maine. Stood up to a week of cold weather and lots of riding! My son (9 years old) loved it and said he was warm and comfy the whole time. Bonus points for matching so well with his FXR helmet!
