SNOCROSS 2023-2024 END OF SEASON RECAP
Amsoil Championship Snocross wrapped up their 2023-2024 season in Duluth, Minnesota. After a few-year hiatus, everyone was anxious to return to the beloved and scenic slopes of Spirit Mountain where we were treated to one of the biggest tracks this stop has ever seen. Bottles were popped, champions were crowned, and fans flooded in to join the fun and excitement.
Needless to say, this was an exceptionally challenging season with unusually warm temperatures and rain. Though the snow conditions were not ideal at a handful of the venues, ISOC did an excellent job at providing a track suitable for racing. With the exception of the Lake Geneva event succumbing to the poor weather conditions, we were able to complete nearly a full season against tough odds. The second half of the season included stops at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds in Sioux Falls, SD, ERX Motorpark in Elk River, MN, and Spirit Mountain in Duluth, MN.
SKOGQUIST RACE TEAM
Despite Elias Ishoel’s season-ending injury, the 5-Time Champ was no stranger to the circuit. Ishoel remained in the states for most of the season and could be found trackside cheering on his fellow racers and in the pits coaching his teammates.
