That distinctive hum on the gate with everybody locked onto their throttle is like none other you will have the opportunity to experience. The 2-Stroke is making it's return to racing circuits globally and I for one am pretty excited to see the Pre-Mix series coming to Canada this summer. We always look forward to the annual 2-Stroke World Championship held at Glen Helen Raceway. It's the chance to come line up with other who share in your passion or maybe a chance to relive your glory days. In any case, it's a pretty amazing event and the turn out just keeps growing. We were fortunate to have Brown Dog in the area and he swung by to catch some shots from the day's racing. We had of course the legend himself, Mike Brown there to take on the Open Pro class. Along side Mike were such pro riders as #319 Coty Schock (who is really a guy you want to keep your eye on this season), MN rider Jerry Robin #194 decided to polish up the 2-stroke between his SX schedule and lay down some laps. There were also countless amateurs that showed up to compete so a good day was had by all. Coty Schock would take 3rd in Open Pro, Mike Brown was 4th in Open Pro and Jerry Robin took 22nd. 25 Year Expert rider Ray Obermeyer would finish in 3rd place. Sit down, grab a coffee and take a look at the big gallery from Glen Helen this past weekend.
