Round 7 Arlington Supercross | Photo Report

February 21, 2018

by Dawn McClintock With the east brings change. We didn't quite realize change would mean one for the history books for FXR but there it was. Round seven of the AMA Monster Energy Supercross touched down in Arlington, Texas and there was a changing of the guard for the east coast 250 line up. New faces and some new numbers to note. Some familiar faces with their new numbers put on a pretty big show for the 250 class. This round included the return of Autotrader/Yoshimura/JGR/Suzuki Factory Racing team rider, Jimmy Decotis who had come off a rough previous season battling the dreaded lyme disease. He fought back hard, got his health back in alignment to compete in the top ranks once again. Jimmy showed he was back to his fit form in Arlington pulling off a 3rd place in the main and giving himself his first ever podium finish. What a way to start your return! Congratulations to Jimmy and his team and let's hope this is a sign for things to come for the likeable New Englander. Let's take a look at some of the action from Texas.
