Updates from Europe

May 28, 2019

by Gjermund Frostad

This weekend we had the MXGP in St Jean de Angely, Women's European MX Championship in Rautlingen, Germany and The British Enduro Championship in Cumbria.

MXGP France:

Horgmo was fastest in practice and the time qualification, but really bad starts kept him from top results. Start gates were the big issue this weekend. A lot of videos are released showing that the gates failed to drop properly and there were quite a few riders complaining about this issue. Dennis Ullerich was also trapped by strange starts in the first heat. He almost had the holeshot in the second heat but went down on the first lap. You can view the Horgmo video here

Women's European MX Championship, Germany:

Martine Hughes win again in the 125 cc class in the Womans EMX. You can view more here.

British Enduro Championship, Cumbria:

In UK we had the ACU Michelin British Enduro Championship with our Yamaha Off-Road team
