Round 5 of the 2019 Grand National Cross Country Series made the trek north for the first time this year to the X Factor GNCC in Peru, Indiana. Six inches of rain in the 10 days leading into the event made for tricky conditions on and off the track, as even getting parked at the event was a challenge. Eight laps over three hours on a fast course that was shortened because of the conditions, took its toll on the riders. Multiple lines were formed all across the entirety of the course that became rough and beat the riders all day long. The GNCC series heads to Millfield, Ohio for the John Penton GNCC on May 19th.

Cory Buttrick in his first GNCC in FXR gear rode strong to 14thoverall.
Cope Beckert rode well all day long, coming up just two seconds short of the Open A class podium after damaging his bike at the half way point.
Jonathon Johnson powered through the mud for over three hours to finish 7th in XC2 Pro Lites.
