ROUND 5 SOUTHWICK | MASSACHUSETTS MOTOCROSS 2021 | PHOTO REPORT

Round 5 of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Series took place in Southwick, Massachusetts for The WICK 338 National!  Lots of rain pouring down on the facility on Friday was a big talking point early but the Southwick sand soaked it up nicely and racing went off without a hitch!  Top FXR performer in the 450 class was Southwick local Chris Canning.  Chris went 14-14 moto scores for 14th overall.  Other FXR riders in the 450 class at Round 5 were Jacob Runkles in 21st, Kyle Chisholm 22nd, Nathan Augustin 25th, Brian Borghesani 26th, Ricci Randanella 28th, Cory Carsten 32nd, Trevor Schmidt 33rd, Travis Delnicki 35th Bryton Carrroll 36th, Freddie Noren 39th, and Coty Schock in 41st.  In the 250 class Garrett Marchbanks had some difficulty first moto with some mechanical failure but came back strong in moto 2 with a 9th place finish to give him 14th overall on the day.  Brandon Scharer on the Club MX team had a great day finishing in the points for 20th overall.  Carson Mumford finished in 28th after a tough day as well.  The series continues next weekend in Millville, Minnesota for the Spring Creek National on July 17th, 2021

Chris Canning was the home town favorite at Southwick.

Canning performed awesome and ended up 14th overall. 

Kyle Chisholm jumped in the series at Southwick for a 22nd overall.

Garrett Marchbanks finished 14th overall in the 250 class.

Carson Mumford had a rough day at the Wick.

Mumford was 28th at Round 5.

Brandon Scharer has been good to see back at the races.

Scharer is a full time trainer at Club MX during the week and Professional Racer on the weekends.

Scharer finished 20th at Southwick.

Coty Schock had bike issues as well and finished 41st.
