Hotdogs, fireworks, and racing! Round 9 of the GNCC series headed to Dunkard, Pennsylvania, on July 4thweekend, for the High Voltage GNCC. Heavy rain during Saturday’s ATV racing made for some of the best conditions in recent memory for Sunday action. Riders claimed that the course was one of the easiest of the year, temperatures nearing 100 degrees made it the most challenging race of the season. After 3+ hours of racing, many of the riders were plagued with heat exhaustion. The series takes the usual summer break, and resumes September 14thand 15th, at the Black Sky GNCC in Harpursville, New York.

Evan Smith would fight through a wrist injury at the previous round to take 5thin XC2 and 15thoverall.
Buttrick would suffer a mechanical while running in the top 10, ending his day early.
Jonathon Johnson would take 7thin XC2 and 17thoverall.
Triston Landrum would take 5thin 250 A, and 32ndoverall.
Jason Lipscomb would take his first career podium in the XC3 class.
